About Praxis
What if your support group actually moved your life forward?
You’ve probably experienced this before. You come home from a powerful training or workshop brimming with insight. Something has shifted. You see yourself differently. You make commitments. You feel more alive, more honest, more purposeful.
Then life resumes. The familiar patterns return. The urgency fades. Before long, you’re living much the way you were before the weekend.
Most transformational experiences don’t fail because they weren’t powerful enough. They fade because insight alone doesn’t create lasting change. Transformation requires practice.
Many people join support groups or accountability groups to continue the work they’ve begun. Some of those groups become extraordinary spaces for growth. Others gradually drift into comfortable conversations. The support remains, but the challenge softens.
Without realizing it, groups can slip into what we call the Coward’s Bargain: I won’t challenge you if you won’t challenge me. Everyone feels accepted, but no one is consistently called into greater courage. Discomfort is avoided, and growth stalls out.
Praxis was designed to break that bargain.
It’s a place where encouragement and compassion are matched by accountability and loving challenge — where people support one another not by protecting comfort, but by helping each other become who they most want to be.
Praxis grew out of The Dragon Training, a three-day experiential initiation built around a simple but radical question:
What if the very thing you’ve spent your life trying to control, manage, or subdue contains the energy for your greatest brilliance?
Dragon participants discover how to transform the life-denying energy of fear into the life-affirming energy of self-authorship.
Whether you’ve attended Dragon, another transformational training, or simply know you’re ready to stop living on autopilot, the work is the same: lasting change doesn’t come from insight alone. It comes from putting your deepest commitments into practice, week after week.
How Praxis works
At the heart of Praxis is a three-person triad that meets for one hour each week.
The format combines encouragement, accountability, and loving challenge while keeping attention on what matters most:
- Your health and well-being
- Your spiritual practice
- Your closest relationships
- The commitment, purpose, or project calling most strongly to you
The structure is simple and remarkably effective.
It’s difficult to hide in a triad. It’s difficult to make excuses when two other people know your commitments, celebrate your victories, and lovingly challenge you when you drift.

Practice creates transformation
Try Praxis for a month.
Show up for four conversations.
Experience what happens when your most important commitments receive focused attention every single week. If it serves you, continue. If it doesn’t, you’ve invested just four hours in an honest experiment.
You don’t become the person you’re meant to be through inspiration alone.
You become that person through practice. Praxis is where the practice begins.
The Fall 2026 Praxis cohort begins this month. We’d love to have you join us.
